CONGRATULATIONS!
The TFC chili team won First Place in this year's annual Truckee Chili Cookoff against some formidable opponents, like the USFS and the Truckee Fire Dept.

SATURDAY NIGHT SERVICE
we now have Saturday evening services year round. Worship starts at 6:30 PM in Suite 105. Children, age 3 through 5th grade, meet upstairs in Suite 210 and 211.

SUNDAY SERVICE
Sunday morning worship starts at 10 AM in Suite 105. Children, age 3 through 5th grade meet upstairs in Suites 210 and 211.

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
The TFC High School youth meet upstairs in Suite 211 on Tuesday evenings from 7:30-9:00 PM.

JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL
The TFC Junior High youth meet upstairs in Suite 211 on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM.

MONTHLY POTLUCK
Beginning April 25 we'll be having a "potluck" dinner at The Rock at 6:00 PM on the 4th Sunday of every month. Bring a friend and a main course, salad, or dessert... or one of each.
Each month we'll have a different theme, so check the calendar to see what type of dinner to bring.

YOUTH FUNDRAISING
The TFC youth group is selling discount cards to raise funds for our ministry. The cards are on sale for $10 and are good for a full year (through September 2010). With these cards you get great discounts at many local businesses, like KFC, Panda Express, Zano's, Burger Me and more... and there is no limit to the number of times you can get the discounts.
The proceeds from the card sales will go toward funding camps, mission experiences, student scholarships, and helping offset other ministry expenses.
Your help is essential in making this fundraiser a success!

LIFE'S HEALING CHOICES
Are you recovering (or trying to recover) from a habit, an addiction, or a crisis in your life that is keeping you from developing to your full potential? Come join us every Wednesday evening (6:30) in the community room of Frishman Hollow Apartments
(on Rue Ivy, off SR-89 N at the traffic circle).

CELEBRATE RECOVERY
Are you struggling with fear, guilt, anger, procrastination, drugs, alcohol, abuse, insecurity, broken relationships, or anything else that is keeping you from living a productive life? If so, join us as we learn, step by step, how to overcome and recover from those "habits".

HELPING HAITI
If you would like to help needy families and orphans in Haiti but don't know where to start, Tahoe Forest Church has joined forces with the Church of the Nazarene in San Diego. Their pastor, Antony Duclos, is a native of Haiti and has started two churches and one medical clinic in Haiti and will make sure your aid reaches the Haitian people that really need it.

COMMUNITY GIVING
If you would like to participate with Tahoe Forest Church in giving to needy families in our community, just stop by the local grocery store of your choice and purchase one or more $25 gift certificates. Bring the gift certificates to church and drop them in the offering basket and TFC will distribute them to needy families in our community as donations allow.

Another way to join us in helping the needy in our community is to bring a bag of non-perishable groceries to church on the first weekend of each month (Pick up a red bag after service). We'll deliver them to the young mothers attending the Sierra High Continuation School. They could also use baby food, diapers, baby clothes and other baby items.

Remember, Jesus said, "Whatever you do for the least of these, you do for me".
